Productised WordPress theme + companion plugin built off a real Swiss local branch site. The site is real and live; the theme + plugin package ships separately so other branches install it on fresh WordPress and scaffold an identical site in under five minutes.
Approach
- Custom WordPress theme matching the visual baseline (header, hero, news CPT, candidates CPT, events, downloads, statutes archive, GDPR-compliant contact).
- Companion plugin (
-core) registers all custom post types, shortcodes, forms, SEO defaults and a one-click demo-content installer. - Branch swap script rewrites all "Reference Branch" strings to the new branch name in DB and uploads on theme activation.
Outcome
The real branch site stays live. The theme + plugin ZIP plus German installation guide and customer manual ship to new branches as a paid setup that takes hours, not weeks.
